Why Earth G

No data sales, no third-party trackers, no in-app ads. The cafés and shops that want your foot traffic pay a small fee to list a voucher. That's the entire revenue model.

+Is Earth G free?
Free to use for members — sign up, attend events, earn points, redeem vouchers. No subscription, no ads. The cafés and shops that list vouchers pay a small fee. That's the entire business model.
+What data do you collect?
Your account, the events you sign up for, the points you earn, and (only if you grant it) your approximate location to show nearby events on a map. We do not sell data, we don't run third-party advertising trackers, and you can delete your account from Settings at any time.
+Where does it run?
Maastricht first. The catalogue, sponsors, and events are all local. We expand to other cities once we have 100+ active members.
+How are points awarded?
Event check-in: 50 points. Volunteer shifts: 50 points. Quizzes: up to 10 points. Articles marked read: 5 points. Voucher redemptions deduct points. Roughly 100 points ≈ €1 in voucher value.
+Is the website account the same as the app account?
Yes. Sign up once — works on web and on iOS. Both surfaces talk to the same Supabase project, hosted in Frankfurt. You can also sign in with Google or Apple, or as a guest to just browse.
+I'm a sponsor — how much does it cost?
Three tiers from €49/month (Starter, 1 voucher slot) to custom Featured packages. See /sponsors for the full breakdown — the application form is on that page.
+I'm a sponsor — what reach do I get?
Live counters on /impact show current member and engagement numbers. We don't promise a number; we promise placement: your voucher appears in the rewards catalogue and on relevant event pages. When someone redeems, you only see the redemption code — never the customer's identity.
+Can sponsors see who redeemed?
When you redeem a voucher, the sponsor receives only the redemption code — never your email, name, or activity history. That's part of the deal.
